Meaning:...please accept this lotus-eyed maiden'....as soon as Brihaspathi announced thus, King Akaasha happily offered rubies and garments.

Prapauthrasya Yayaasthesthu Pauthrasyaamithatheyjasaha
Shooraseynasya Raajendra! Vasudeyvasya Bhoopatheyhey.

Meaning:Sage Vasishta:-
Afterwards Sage Vasishta announced that the great grandson of Yayathi, grandson of the most valorous Shoorasena, son of Vasudeva....

Jaathasyaathrikulothpannaam Kanyaam Kanakabhooshithaam.

Meaning:...bearer of Vasishta Gothram, Lord Srinivasa will accept the bearer of Athri gothram and one who is bedecked in jewellery.....

355) Graheeshyaamo Vayam Raajan! Thava Puthreem Nrupoththama!
Kanyaavarapravarayoho Ithyuchchaarithayoradha.

Meaning:...and your daughter as His bride'.....thus was announced and afterwards....

356) Dharanyaa Saha Raajendraha Kanyaadaanaparaayanaha
Prahrushthahrudayaha Praaha Sreenivaasam Paraathparam.

Dakshiney Sreenivaasasya Dadau Padmaavatheem Thathaha.

Meaning:King Akaasha poured Swami Pushkarini Lake water duly purified by the mantras along with gold and Goddess Padmavathi's hand in Lord Srinivasa's right hand.

359) Vidhaanam Cha Thathashchakrey Raajendra Ssapurohithaha
Poojayithvaa Jagannaadham Gandhavasthraanuleypanaihi.

Meaning: After performing other rituals conducted by the priest according to tradition and worshipping Lord Srinivasa with sandalwood.....

360) Kankanam Bandhayaamaasa Vaasudevakaraambujey
Padmaavathyaaha Karaambhojeybandhayathkankanam Guruhu.

Meaning:King Akaasha tied the gold bracelet on Lord Srivasa's arm and Brihaspathi tied the gold bracelet on Goddess Padmavathi's arm.

361) Thadhaa Maangalyasoothrasya Bandham Vaivaahikam Thadaa
Sreenivaaseyna Deyveynaa Kaaryathsapurohithaha.

Meaning:...Afterwards the priest made Lord Srinivasa tie the auspicious "mangala soothram" ( the yellow thread which binds man and woman in wedlock) around Goddess Padmavathi's neck in the following manner.

Suvaasinyaha:-
362) Saavithreeva cha Kalyaanee! Bahuputhravathee Bhava
Sarvalokasya Jananee Bhava Mangaladaayinee.

Meaning:Suvaasinis ( married women who are religiously faithful to their husbands ):-
" May you bear as many sons as Savithri and hailed as Mother of the entire Universe, may you preosper!..

363) Ithdham Sumangaleesthreeshu Gaayantheeshu Subhaasishaha
Braahmanaanaam Karasparshaath Raajashchaapi Mahaathmanaha.

Meaning:....while the  married women blessed and showered many such auspicious greetings, after brahmins and King Akaasha touched with their hands....

364) Babandha Pootham Maangalya Soothram Manthraabhimanthritham
Kanthey Padmaavatheedeyvyaa Ssreenivaaso Jagathpathihi.

Meaning:Lord Srinivasa tied the auspicious yellow thread (mangala soothram) duly purified by mantras around Goddess Padmavathi's neck.

365) Munibhissaha Vidvadbhi Rlaajairhomam Purohithaha
Vasishto Kaarayathpadmaa Vathyanjalyathaisthathaha.

Meaning:the priest along with Sage Vasishta and other qualified scholars used the grains that were held by Goddess Padmavathi in both Her palms....

366) Yajushshaakhaakrameynai Va Juhaavaagnau Yadaavidhi
Sarvam Vaivaahikavidhim Vasishtodha Samaapayath.

Meaning:...to perform the sacred homam (fire ritual) according to Yajur Veda. After Sage Vasishta performed the wedding in the said manner.....
